Diamond Solitaire Pendants & Necklaces
A diamond solitaire pendant is a single diamond hung on a chain, with nothing around it to compete for the light. Each pendant here comes on a gold necklace and holds one natural, earth-mined diamond, mostly F color. Most are SI1 clarity, and clarity enhanced, which each listing states (what clarity enhanced means).
Choose your shape and size: round, as in God Rays (1 carat) and Stellar Scintillation (2.5 carats); princess, as in Coronas; a 1.05 carat triangle in Brilliant Flame; or a floating pear in Comet Tail. Prices run from $1,940 to $10,200. Want more sparkle around the stone? See our diamond necklaces and halo pendants.
Diamond solitaire pendants: FAQ
What is a solitaire pendant?
A pendant with one diamond and no side stones or halo. The setting holds the diamond in prongs or a bezel, and the chain runs through a small bail or loop behind it.
What is a floating diamond pendant?
A setting that hides most of the metal, so the diamond seems to hang on the chain by itself. Heiligenschein (1.5 carats, round) and Comet Tail (pear) are floating solitaires.
What carat size should I choose for a solitaire necklace?
Our solitaires run from 0.6 to 3 carats. Around 1 carat reads clearly at conversation distance and suits everyday wear; 2 carats and up is a statement piece. God Rays comes in 1, 2 and 3 carats, so you can compare sizes on one design.
Are these natural diamonds?
Yes. Every solitaire pendant here holds a natural, earth-mined diamond. Most are clarity enhanced, and each listing gives the color and clarity.
Does the necklace come with the pendant?
Yes. Each pendant ships on a gold necklace in the gold shown on the listing. Several designs come in yellow, white or rose gold, and Heiligenschein in 14K or 18K.
How long does it take to make?
Each pendant is made to order. Production takes 10-14 business days, plus shipping.
